Side Door Rattle & Fit
When the Bongo side-door closes I hear the motor pulling in and then out slightly but the rear top of the window does not fit flush with the body work. If I hit a small bump when driving there is a loud rattle from the door as though it is not being held correctly. I don't remember either of these problems occuring some time ago so suspect something in the door has changed. Can the door latch be adjusted to fix these problems? Clive

Interesting - I have a similar occasional mysterious noise (didn't used to be there) and am wondering if the cause is similar to yours (hard to check when driving on your own!!!). I'll be interested to see what replies you getclive and val wrote:When the Bongo side-door closes I hear the motor pulling in and then out slightly but the rear top of the window does not fit flush with the body work. the sliding door mountings have been known to come loose on the door side, when this happens the door doesnt shut fully,it can be a pig to adjust correctly.

Re: Side Door Rattle & Fit
I'd adjust the top bolts so that they are somewhere between tight, and loose. Imagine they are just tight enough so the door can be pulled/pushed into the desired position when closed. Close the door. Using firm, but not violent pushes/pulls move the door in such a fashion that the window lines up with the other. Then open the door, and tighten the bolts up whilst holding the door firmly so that the flange doesn't move until the bolts are tight. Try the door a few more times to ensure it repeatedly closes "lined up". It may be worth scoring circles around the bolts for future reference in case the bolts ever work loose again.
