waxoil rear wheel arch - remove internal panel?

When getting my van wax oiled by bongo bill from campercraft he said that to do it properly he feels tha the rear internal panel should be removed to wax the rear wheel arch from inside.

i've asked another specialist abou this and said thats not how he does it. i would imagine that the best way is probably the most fiddly way and the other guy can't be bothered to remove the panel

I waxoiled mine whilst the panel was removed for another reason. I must admit that's how i do a lot of things on my bongo... "do something else in the vacinity whilst i'm there". :wink:

I removed my panels when I did ours...Wouldn't do it again. For the very rear area, remove the lights, and for the front part, remove the tray, and feed the probe through there. Before doing that, pull the recoil seatbelts all the way out and tie them, so you don't get waxoyl on them

I agree, if you want to make sure you get coverage everywhere then you'll need the panels out, you can use probes and go through from lots of different places, like remove the reays in the rear panels that grant a lot of access,but not everywhere, simple fact if you want the job done properly then pull the panels out, waxoyl/underseal is about access and angles, if you havent got both you'll never do the job properly. At 321 ther cars are stripped out for cleaning/conversion and the sealing is done then with a completely empty cabin area, is the only way to ensure full coverage.
