Hi Flip Flop. The purpose of the leisure battery is to power things that you're likely to use whilst camping, thus ensuring that the main "starter" battery still has enough power to actually start the vehicle so you are not stranded/broken down. :D

nope only runs light and radio not even cig sockets :?

The Cigar lighters and and Ignition switched power for the radio come from the same fuse as standard.
So it sounds like either someone has incorrectly wired up the power to the radio or been in and split the wiring loom (not very likely), I suspect that they have commoned the power from the standby circuit for the radio to the main power as well for the radio.
