HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!
hello everyone just like to say a quick hello to my fellow bongo owners, ive had my bongo for one month now i brought it for me and my little son of 4 years old who is learning to do motocross and we needed a van and a car so the bongo looked like the right choice (2IN1). ive had quite a few issues with it first it was a cv joint then a wheel bearing then a faulty oil filter leaking and now ive got the dreaded HOLD FLASH LIGHT on, ive tryed looking at the bongo fact sheets about trying to find out what code it is and its says depending on how many times the hold light flashes when diagnosing the problem, some of the code numbers range from code 1 all the way to code 60 somthing NOW does this mean the hold light flashes 1 time or 60 times ect... depending on the fault???????? this i dont know and would really be greatfull if anyone could help me on this matter as i really need to get this problem sorted as its driving me mad and i dont dare drive it with this hold light flashing.PLEASE SOMONE HELP ME THANKS

Welcome to the madhouse
Have a read of this http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =3&t=29471 - there may be somebody near you who could help. Have you done the wiring work to the ECU to check the flashing light signals? If so, what are the readings?

Re: HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!
Hi and welcome
the code flashes in sequence like 6 fast flashes pause 3 slow flashes = 63 long pause then the next number
However I remember it being the oposit but thats probably my memory
is it on all the time or flashing?

Re: got the code i think lol!!!!!!
ive just done the wire thing and its flashing 7 times. and i think its a speed sensor whatever that means????? is it a big problem and or how do i get it fixed many thanks for all your help?????????

Re: HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!
You don't say which vehicle you have but assuming its a Diesel then the Speed Sensor is shown as B2-18 and its connector is located here;

Otherwise go to the Index pages at the rear and look up Speed Sensor and select the correct engine type!
