hold light flashing!!!
hello there ive had some help with this issue and ive red just about everythig about this problem (to many anwsers has confused me now) hopfully i can get to the bottom of this problem, RIGHT ive done the diagnoses and its telling me i have a fault with the speed sensor code 7, some people say this could be a dodgy wire behind the dash that converts kmh to mph, It could be the problem as i have recently change the audio system and put a uk spec cd player in and may have knocked a wire out or somthing else out (but all wires look ok), NOW i was driving the bongo tonight and the hold light came on and i noticed that the speedomiter wasnt working (does this mean some fault with the speed sensor or do this mean i have a dodgy wire behind the dashboard???????? can anyone help me please??? where do i need to take me bongo to have this checked out?????THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE ALLREADY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The following topic should show you how to remove the dials to see if there is a loose wire where it attaches,

it may be a faulty chip (if one is fitted) which can be tested by removing it but check for connections first

Ah with the additional info that the Speedo isn't showing the speed then there is a separate sensor for that! But the most common problem is with the wiring to the speedo especially if a KmH / MpH conversion chip has been fitted. But again with out the engine type there are several diagrams that apply if you head to the wiring diagrams and choose the right year for the manual then look in the Contents for the Instrument Combination meter you can see what wiring and connectors are involved.
