Post by fivepints » Mon Jan 17, 2011 4:49 pm

Hi all, has anybody got experience of doing an oil change themself on a V6 - is it pretty much the same process as in the factsheet?

Good question! I figured that the factsheet is written for diesels and I wanted to make sure that the systems were the same. Knowing my luck I'd drain the oil and then not be able to find where to put the new stuff...

V6...dipstick under the passenger seat.....Oil fill under the drivers seat......Oil filter drivers side rear bottom of engine....drainplug = Sq cutout in middle of undertray.
