V6 Starter battery

Post by buddyh42 » Sun Jan 23, 2011 4:10 pm

Hi all, can someone give me some advice on what battery I need for the V6 version, dunno what I'm lookin for but really need a new one badly, this having to use a quick start jump thingy every second day is annoying...lol
Thanks for any help, I have had a look and a search but seem to only find info about the diesel version and dont know if it will be the same.
Thanks Buddy

Its all japanese went to local auto shop who had same idea wrote all the details and numbers he could get/understand and then spent about 15 mins searching through books to then phone someone then say sorry dont know, gee i was well pi**ed off at that, then went to kwik fit and was told will be with you shortly, after almost an hour of waiting decided to just leave, then went to halfords but couldnt find a staff member to ask, so knew the good people on here are very generous with there help and advice,

Hi Buddy.

When you find out what battery you need try this place, next day delivery. I have had my last two batteries from them, one for the Bongo and one for the Jeep. They have both been first class and not let me down yet. Compared with the last two localy bought ones which must have been collecting dust on the garage shelf for yonks, these kept going flat on me and the garage kept fobbing me off saying that they could not find anything wrong with them.

June is fine at the moment apart from still having that broken sleep problem. Fire off a PM to you later with the rest of the news.

Its not that critical, so long as the cranking Amps (CCA) are above 600Amps and a capacity of above 80AmpHr, it should be fine mine in our V6 is a 95AmpHr and something like 660CCA as I recall.
