I have a tow bar mounted thule rack for the car as well which is superb. They are expensive but worth the money in my oppinion. Not sure I would want the weight of 4 bikes on the tailgate of the Bongo even with my lightweight racing machines.

Does anyone use one of these Fiamma racks for 4 mountain bikes?

Watch the weight of the rack, on the tailgate, or on the bumper. We saw one recently on another bongo which had made two rather alarming dents in the bumper where it rested. Also bear in mind the weight of 4 bikes mounted high up on the back of the van

I have the Pendle, very solid and well constructed, but a bit less convenient than the tailgate mounted ones as it has to be fitted for use.
