Aberdeen day meet 13 Feb 2011

Post by Wullie Wassle » Sun Feb 13, 2011 7:08 pm

Thanks to all who braved the wind and rain to turn up at Hazelhead. You have managed to persuade Tracey and I togo out and get ourselves a Bongo, even just for the cameraderie. What a great bunch of folk. All we need to do now is find the right one for us, should be easy enough!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again folks. Hope to meet you all again, preferably with better weather.

Yes had a nice time catching up with old friends and meeting the newer members. :D 8)

A good turn out for such short notice - especially considering it was P***** with rain all day.

I tried to take a photo with my phone but the lens was all misted up so all I got was a very blurred image - it could have been any random group for all you could make out

Anyway Wullie I'm glad it was successful - keep us informed on progress.

Sorry we couldn't make it as I have no kitchen at the moment and Ikea was calling. Now if Aberdeen had had its own branch I would have been there
Glad you all had a good time

Spotted two white AFT's in Union square car park, and there's me thinking they were all Silver in Aberdeenshire.

Was good to catch up even though we appeared to have coincided with the wettest day in ages. Keep us updated on your progress Wullie.

As Mrs G was heading up north in the afternoon she spotted a bongo on the side road by Huntly parked up with the roof up. Was this dave_aber pulled over for a nap?

Sorry I couldn't make it, but it was a bit short notice for me. Great turnout considering the weather. Is there a blue bongo near the far end of the lineup? If yes, who's is it.

It does make it look as though all the local bongos are silver doesn't it?
