If you can't find how it gets in, maybe you could give it a similar way out.I drilled a small hole underneath the false "reversing light" reflector dunc... (one each side) I couldn't stop the water ingress, so i helped it to self drain with the extra holes Worked too! (drill the housing of the light, not the clear plastic lens part)
