antifreeze / coolant - which type?

Hey

Need to refill the system but can't find anywhere that says what type to use......lots of helpful info on how to do it but nowhere can actually find out which type. Unless I wait to the weekend, I'm limited to going to Halfrauds, so as it's a P reg (97) 2.5TD do I buy the pre 1998 coolant?

Or is there somewhere online that delivers?

to top up you need to know what is in there already
that depends on when it was last changed and what type was used

If you are doing a complete drain flush and refill any should be ok

I think by reading the containers they say wether they are suitable for alloy heads (I may just be remembering that wrong)

it's a refill from empty.

I think commer RED is a good one to use but dont act on my 10p worth ive used it in mine.

Just a quike note do you know how to bleed it properly cus you can crack the head easily if done wrong ?
