Drivers door wiring loom

Post by springer » Tue Feb 22, 2011 9:33 am

I dont suppose anyone has a wiring diagram for the drivers door loom ?

It would be possible to try and figure it our from all the seperate wiring diagrams, picking out the mirror/window/locking/speaker connections, but was kinda hoping someone already had it.

Also, where oh where do the 2 plugs at the dash side of the loom plug in. It seems to me, on mine, I cant get the old loom out, because it clips in somewhere inside the skin of the car, not under the dash.

Does that make sense.

Kind of makes sense...!?

It would help if you tell us what yer trying to achieve...

This link is irrelevant, but does show where you need to be looking with regards to the loom connectors, which are in foreground in front of the beep box. About 30 second in the video (I think from memory?) The removal of this panel looks easy, (held in place at the back by a white stick out bit like a nosle on a sealant cartridge, & the rubber on the door opening) but you may find yours has a scrivet holding it down to the floor under the step trim edge too!

Hope this helps!

My window isnt working.

Have the door trim off, and noticed the remote central locking wire was disconnected, some black earth wires had been hacked at, some other wires are connected together that are different colours, some extensions have been made that dont seem necessary.

In short, the loom is a bit of a pig.

I can completely remake the harness where I work, but wanted a pin out of it.

Also I have forgotten how to log onto members area, so I cannot access the wiring diagrams.

Possible window closure module fitted at some point?

You don't have to logon the Bongo Wiring Manuals are free access see here http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =3&t=36657 but yes it does mean looking on several pages but if you just note the Loom involved (DR1) its not that bad!
