Bro... Have you considered making a mesh cover for the sub? You could use the same sort of mesh i've used for the bongo grille, with holes smaller than tiny twins' fingers... Covering with mesh wouldn't affect the sound, in fact it would only make the bass sound deeper =P~ =P~ =P~ (more back pressure through the port) You have to be careful there were no mesh "snags" on the outer edges though (maybe fold the edges?) Little fingers can magically find ANY sharp edges!

Like mine Ste, the pics of your don't do it credit. Much better in the flesh on both vans.

DBO, thanks for info on your fancy re upholstery.

Carl, congrats on your news.

I stuck to under 2500rpm all the way there and back, rewarded with 24% better fuel consumption than normal foot to the floor driving. Total driving time was just under 8 hours, and so relaxing in the Bongo. Saw 100's of VW's converging around Stafford.

Only saw 4 other Bongos en route the whole day.
I think the bongo lends itself well to just cruising along Keith... Nobody expects it to be a ball of fire anyway... Then blow the odd hot hatch off here or there

It was great to see you and my new mate Amelia at the flash  And you are right... Bessie looks even better than in the pics!
