Thanks Dave will do it tomorrow!

Re: Scottish Bongo Bash 2011
Latest news. The site has now informed us of the prices per night for our meeting. It's a bit steep, at £20 per night (including hook-up and Saturday night entertainment). But this is not a cheap campsite. Normal price in May for a Campervan plus electric plus awning is £26 per night, so we managed to get a considerable discount.
Those of you who have booked already and paid a £10 deposit will receive an email tomorrow about payment of the balance.

Just in case anyone else was as dumb as me & couldn't find any booking details, here's a Members Area link.

I'll call in the morning. These Scots always do a good do.

There's time to persuade the bride & groom to get a Bongo - then they can alter their plans and have a stylish celebrationmunroman wrote:I have a wedding to attend that weekend in Argyll, so will have to miss this - drat!![]()

They had already been sniffing around mine and I had to chase them off!Muzorewa wrote:There's time to persuade the bride & groom to get a Bongo - then they can alter their plans and have a stylish celebrationmunroman wrote:I have a wedding to attend that weekend in Argyll, so will have to miss this - drat!![]()

(Lets just say that the bride to be has a habit of returning any vehicles she has borrowed 'customised' - though I did manage to refit the partly torn off bumper on her mum's 3 month old Hyundai without it showing any damage.)
Believe me, it will be safer for all Bongo owners in Scotland that weekend to confine them to a remote village on the West Coast!
When asked about Western Civilisation, Ghandi said 'that would be a good idea'...

We have booked to come! Looking forward to it very much and also to meet new people as well as old.
We had such a good time at the meet in September in Glen Coe.

Booking for the Friday and Saturday.
Our daughter's at St Andrews uni and finishes the following week so it ties in nicely to bring some of her stuff back.
It'll make a nice change as well not to have to pay £80--90 for B & B in St Andrews.
Want to do the Elie Chain Walk as well assuming the chains have been replaced that were nicked last year.

Seeing the update yesterday on the members' page, perhaps the guy was referring to the number of allocated pitches.Driver+Passengers wrote:>40 booked in for May, apparently.
Anyway, as I'm not going, I'll shut up.
