Lovely pictures because we will always remember our Dot and Keith, they will always be with us but sadly not in a physical sense.

Words cant describe what a shock it was when I found out today of the very sad news, cant add much more really to whats been said already but Keith was one of the most down to earth genuine guys anyone would want to meet, and will be sadly missed at our northwest/yorkshire meets, our thoughts go out to Karen and family at this sad time.

I’m absolutely gutted to hear this news. Keith was a great man. He was kind and generous. He offered me many kind words last year when I needed some support and his door was always open. I’m sad because I never made it over to see him again but I do have many happy memories of him. I’ve been thinking of you Karen so much these last few days and I’m sending you big hugs from me and the boys, who are equally saddened by your loss

Firstly i apologize for neglecting you all i arnt doing too well just now it seems i can only function for short periods between tranqs but here goes.
funeral details for anyone who wants to come - all are really very welcome - just as with Dot the bongo crew have been like part of the familly too us and almost our entire social life has been thanks to all of you.
firstly things are a bit back to front as we felt its a bit unfair on the younger grandkids to be staring at a coffin all the time so we are starting at the crematorium -waltonwrays skipton at 1pm and leaving keith there - (no curtains or moving the coffin through the doors in our presence - again for the kids sake,) then its up too the parish church st michaels and all angels at linton for 2pm so that the people who want to speak or read something will do so here. After the service we will walk down too the river a few yards away (but a bit muddy so watch the high heels ladies) and each throw in a flower - the reason is the river flows past most of the places he has ever lived in, also its something the kids can repeat when they want to think about grandad and for me too as we have had many happy picnics there and its a place i can just be alone and sit in the future We are requesting familly flowers and donations in lieu too ward five at airedale hospital which is the specialist stroke unit who helped us so much back in january so the flowers for the river will come from the famiilly ones.plus one which i,m desperately trying to preserve from Donna wedding bouquet as she cant be here .after its up to grassington to the foresters arms for refreshments (and BBQ fluid) which was our local.
Finally I have a special request -i and all the familly immediate familly unanimousely think it would be really nice and would have really amused keith if we had a bongo escort from the chapel of rest in Ilkley too the crematorium - the funeral directors would drive in front to set the pace and hopefully make it clear to other road users that it is a funeral - I,m not sure how long this will take so would need to check with them what time we would meet there. i understand if people are uncomfortable with this idea or think its irreverant or something but if anyone thinks i havnt completely lost the plot and wants to volunteer please pm me i dont know if harry remembers one of those late night meet conversations on the idea which he and keith had, but i certainly do and i know Keith would have most definitely approved.
Finally the local notices all say wear something cheerful its entirely up to you - you wont see it but keith will be leaving us in a bongo t shirt -he was never a suit man.
