Thats one of the Alternator belts Baz. No immediate panic but its designed to run with two & will need replacing fairly sharpish. Best do them both at the same time.

About £14 each & a straightforward half hour to fit but - the BF Shop is out of stock at the mo.

Suggest Bongobits or Bell Hill.

I used to, an Aberdeenshire guy who used to state the obvious, like 'your cutting the grass then', or , 'your washing your car then'.

His best one was when, after a mix up with keys, daughter and I were trying to keep dry in heavy rain under the eaves of the house, Bob went past and said 'your sheltering then'!

Luckily the axe was locked in the garage! :)

On a serious note, it is probably best to replace both belts at the same time, as a used one will have worn differently, and might end up causing problems.
When asked about Western Civilisation, Ghandi said 'that would be a good idea'...
