Snapped Sensor Tube?

Post by Kincaid » Sat Mar 12, 2011 9:54 am

Guys - Whilst looking around the driver's side of the engine bay I've found a broken tube leading from the air filter pipe at the rear-right side of the engine to what seems to be a sensor. I've highlighted the pipe and sensor in the photo below. Does anyone know what this does and what symptoms I should expect now it's broken? Thanks.

 it probably will work! Do you know what the sensor is though? I've been looking through the Service manual but just can't seem to find exactly what it is....
