Cracked Plastic Coating on Bumper

Post by BongoBonkers » Tue Mar 22, 2011 2:22 pm

Hello,

We have a yr 2000 new shape Bongo. The bumpers are starting to look a bit shabby as they seem to be covered in this kind of clear plastic coating that has started cracking and peeling off. Does anyone know what this may be and whether it's sensible to remove it completely....Also, if anyone knows an easy way to remove it then that would be much appreciated....

Thanks for any help,

Dave

if the paint is a little flat, the poor mans respray is to just re laquer the area, maybe they have just had a blow over with laquer and its lifting.
yer paint boys will be along shortly though.
