Post by Barley 1981 » Wed Mar 23, 2011 6:54 pm

I have been thinking of buying one of these towball fitted cycle carriers for my bongo and wondered if anyone had experience of using one?
thanks

I have been using one for years and they are great. No problems and easy to use.

I've been borrowing one just like this from my friend for a few months whilst my own is out of action and its great. Have only used with one adult and one child bike, so not sure how "grippy" it is with two adult bikes but it works well, folds up small and doesn't come loose driving through potholes (I know, you should drive round them  )

Towsure stocks them as well http://www.towsure.com/product/Clipper_ ... le_Carrier but they've gone up a bit in price since I last looked.

Also used one for ages.

Fit some pipe insulation to the bars with nylon ties, stops the frames getting scratched and rattling.
