Ok I can't figure it out. Basically it looks like a pipe behind the rear wheels, it looks like it's severed and I'm guessing it's the rear anti roll bar. Wish I could show the picture! If it is could anyone tell me how much is new one roughly??

The bottom of the shock absorber doesn't look as if it's attached to anything :? :?

The broken bit is the "Panhard Rod" which is there to stop the rear axles swing from side to side on corners.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panhard_rod

And yes it doesn't look like the nearside shocker is attached as it should be either.

What on earth did you hit?

Some photos......

Nope not my Bongo :D

Also..... Part No S10H28650 Lateral Rod......

I guess one the usual Bongo specialists may have a r=good s/h rod, but before you sort one, I would find out what caused the fracture/bend and if indeed it's connected as per the above photos....

Like you Kris, i have a limited knowledge of these matters... But like Scanner am quite interested how this damage came about..?

Image

I'm looking at this picture & also thinking possible damage to any bearings..? & could that be brake fluid on the inner wheel rim?? Techies knock me back if i appear to be wrong, I'd check the tire walls too!??? Cant be too careful... :D
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...
