If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Actually, the boy is not very well at all today. He lounged about on the sofa all morning and then took himself off to bed at 2pm and is still fast asleep (4.45pm). Hence, not much packing done as yet because half of what I need is not here and I can't go out and leave him home alone :(

So, might not get there as early as we planned tomorrow, or might not get there at all if he's proper poorly :( :( :(

Looking forward to a great weekend. Just finished touching up some rust spots on the bongo and fitted the tv and playstation to keep the boys entertained on the trip. Will be packing tonight so that we can be away as soon as I finish work tomorrow. :P
Is anyone else travelling from Exeter area at about 6pm? maybe we could go in convoy.
See you all tomorrow.

Well, we didn't make it to Southern Softies, but not because Isaac was unwell. He made sufficient recovery for me to decide that after four weeks of more building work at home, NOTHING was going to get in the way of my well deserved break.

Nothing, that is except my dad having a heart attack this morning :( He's OK but I'm too drained to drive and would probably be rubbish company, preferring instead to check that my mobile phone had a signal every 20 seconds.

Have a lovely time everyone. If anyone is actually reading this forum in a field full of real people pass it on! You can all make as much noise at the skittles tournament as you like \:D/

Many thanks, Mel. Hopefully you got off the waiting list for Southern Softies and were able to stay there?

So far so good with Dad, his Guardian Angel was definitely on duty yesterday morning. He went to the doctors' surgery to sort out his repeat prescription at 8am and when the receptionist commented that he was out early he said that he had been woken early by indigestion which he couldn't shift  A 999 call was made and he had an ECG while they were waiting for the ambulance. After an emergency angioplasty (five stents inserted) on arrival at the hospital he certainly looks the healthiest on the ward today (even if he doesn't feel 100% yet!!). Not bad for an 87 year old :D

Thanks Alison. Good to hear he's doing ok.

And yep we left Merley at about midday today. Great first time, even though our little one(well he's 9) did wake s up at about 3:45 ish complaining he didn't feel too well!! Suffice to say he's never got down so quick and I spent 30 mins in the toilets with him!! He wasn't actually sick, just said felt unwell. Just thank god we were right in front of the loo block!!
