To confirm wiring

Post by spud350 » Sat May 21, 2011 10:35 am

Is the loom and need to break into for towbar wiring behind the nearside or offside rear panel? The fact sheet says near but previous posts say off. The exhaust won't be an issue.

cheers Spud.

I did mine to the offside but had to run a cable accross from the near side to connect the nearside indicator

Offside, as its usually wher the fog light wiring is located, paprt from thats its the same either side, if you have enough wire make the connections inside the vehicle by goign through the grommet on the light wiring.

Don't you have to run 2 cables to the other side? Rear lamp(normal lights) and indicator?

you can if you want, but not many people do any more on vehicles that only have 1 fuse for both sides, on some cars

OK thanks, all done and working according to my meter. We'll see what happens when I get a trailer. [-o<
