Yep, 321away have had a couple of customers do that, one had an old shape 98 and he had the new shape front end grafted on and the whole thing inc roof painted black, the other was an old shape black over grey, who had it all sprayed in black, there's no problem spraying the roof, its taking the bloody thing off that kills lol

I'll ask eva (owner of 321Away) to look through her pics and see if there's any pics of them,we're talking couple of tears ago now so no promises, it makes a lot of difference even with just the roof painted black, but if your gonna do it, may as well throw the new front end on it too

I saw an Audi Q7 today. The second one in about 6 months.

It occurred to me, on both occasions, that here was a car taking up the same space on the road as mine but I would be at a loss to find a use for it.

I can say with confidence that I would rather spend that sort of money on a pristine new style, fully salt proofed* Bongo (or two) and still have enough left for fuel, insurance, tax and maintenace for quite a long time.

I'd prefer a shiny one, though, in a 'be seen easily' colour. Not sure quite so many people would give way to me in the deferential manner that I have got used to, if it were matt black!

Matt black is very in at the mo, esp round London, the new limited Ford Focus RS500 ONLY comes in matt black, which is a waste of what should be a great car!! imo it looks like the car hasnt been finished, likes in primered and then been left!

Cant decide what to do with my wheels tho, got any ideas, i'm half way through sanding one, kinda wish i hadn't started it, but i got carried away #-o

Purely based on  Wheeler dealers isn't a wrap cheaper than a respray? Still dear I bet.

Had an hour to spare the other day so I read all the mags in WH Smiths and there's a black with orange 4WD VW T5 in there that looked good - would suit a bongo, see here http://www.swcampers.co.uk/images/stori ... 20snow.jpg
