cigar lighter removal

ok, thanks for the advice regarding 1 cigar lighter working and 1 isnt. next question from the idiot writing this. how do you remove the cigar lighter. i have put a voltmeter to it and its dead so next step is to remove it and check the connection or replace the unit. once again many many thanks in advance of your help and advice. i would be lost without it

2 philips screws and drop the panel under the steering wheel and you can reach up behind and push it out, be prepared for a fight tho, some of them are tight! before you push it out, make sure the connector is on

thank you very much. i will have a bash later this week. now for another silly question. are all the replacement units standard or is there a specific one i will need to get? again. thanks in advance?
