Only 4 litres of oil when I did oil change!!

to be honest I have no idea of the capacity of the v6 or 2ltr but having just got a v6 would be interested in knowing

I just though that everyone was thinking it was a diesle and it may be different or the wrong engin completely.

This is the reason we thought it was a diesel (((As I have read all over the forums that normally it takes over 6 litres))

so there you go as the instructions at the top of the section state its best to say what engine is being asked about to avoid confusion

helped me too as now I wont waste valuable £ on too much oil

A happy ending to a crap day
I spent most of it pumping away at my pela wondering where the oil was
I must say though the pela pump is damn good, as when I took off the sump plug not 1 drop of oil came out.
I think admin need to change their fact sheet on Bongo Club as it states 6.5 litres of oil is required, but nowhere does it say for diesels only!!!

They are when running on old cooking oil

Personally, if I was going from the factsheet, I think alarm bells woulda been ringing when I realised the filler cap was on the wrong side
Would be worth the fact sheet being updated though to clarify & include the differences between the 3 engines.

I've just done both a oil and filter change and I also only got about 4.3 ltrs out so I'm guessing this is correct for the V6.

Found this info in my service manual which seems to tick the right box

Capacity for the V6 is 4.5 litres (sump only); 5.0 litres (sump and filter). Total oil capacity is 5.4 litres.
For the 2.0 petrol engine it's 3.6, 3.9, and 4.3 respectively.

Forgot to add 4.3 + oil from oil filter which would equate to approx 5ltrs
