diesel pump removal

Post by M 80NGO » Sun Jun 12, 2011 4:14 pm

After having my pump seals replaced my bongo is still leaking fuel from the pump so the pump's gonna have to come off and be sent to a diesel specialist, do any of you nice people know whats involved in removing the pump and has anyone ever done a "how to" on pump removal ?

Thanx, Peter.

Which seals have been replaced? Try a search on "nose & seal", may help?
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Its not as hard as you'd think, you DONT need to remove the cambelt as you can remove the pump and leave all the pulley/belt in place. If you need a step by step from preactical then let me know will pm it, once you get stuck in you'll soon realise its not that big of a job
