Trouble finding replacement hoses

Post by timmyt » Thu Jun 16, 2011 1:28 pm

Hi
Looking to replace the coolant hoses that i haven't already whilst i have the head off and replacing radiator, the problem is it seem hard to get aftermarket replacements for some of them...
Mainly:
15-188 Expansion tank
15-277 Top radiiator to expansion tank
15-261 Top of thermostat 'U' bend

any ideas where i can get them, the others i can get from club shop.
Ideally would like some silicone ones but any will do.
The bleed hose i will just get some straight hose cut.

You'll probably need the proper part no's from the drawing (those are just the drawing no's, click on the index on the left to gwet part no's) if you're ordering from a dealer (may be your best bet on price - depends on time scale) This may help - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 70&t=49731 - or try Allans, AVA, Bongobits, Bellhill etc
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
