I’ve just been reading the local paper & while the bash is on it’s the 1940 weekend 25th & 26th June at the Severn valley railway . You can get the steam train from Kiddminster or Bridgnorth or the other way around . There are lots of events on all the way down the valley and you can get on and off the trains all day. I’m not connected to this in any way but it is a good day out for all the family & if you have a free day its an excellent day out. With Spivs on the train along with English, American and German soldiers. There are re-enactments’ and stars from Allo Allo so you can plan the days and get off the train for things in various stations along the line. I hope this is ok to post but it’s a full day out that’s with in 5 miles from Stourport. Like I said I have nothing to gain but it can be a really good day out and see some local beauty spots.
Have a good bash
Kev
