Will this electric window switch work????

Hi everyone, the driver side electric window on our Bongo hasnt worked since we bought it and after following the advice on here we have narrowed it down to the switch being broken.

Does anyone know if a MAZDA 626 MK4 4X WINDOWS CONTROL SWITCH GA7C66350 93-94 (ebay!) could be made to work and if not has anyone has any success with other switches as the original ones are far too expensive at the mo.

Nope - http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_from=R40 ... Categories - spot the obvious difference (how many banks of switches) may be able to butcher it to work? you need to be looking at the 2 door versions, I think some are a straight fit & some need a bit of modification -

It's the 2 door you want... Then use the existing Bongo plate to fit & tie in with the door card.. The connector will not fit the one on the Bongo loom, but something like this will do the trick... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/8-way-multi-conne ... 0291130037..
