:D I'm dredging the old memory banks here... but if i recall correctly i angrily whipped of the drivers side footwell panel (below and to the right of the filler cap release/bonnet catch) And unplugged the blue relay... Beeps gone! Perfecto mundo! You see, i know if the bongo is in reverse, as i'd just shifted the shifter to "R", plus the vehicle moving backwards would give the game away a bit... :lol: I can't lock the bongo without the keys, so there's little point in telling me the keys are in the ignition! Plus, my house key is on the same keyring, so i wouldn't be able to get in the house if i'd left the keys in the ignition, seeing as i'd be locked out of the house i doubt very much anybody would jump into the bongo and drive off in it whilst i'm two feet away :lol:

I've never needed the lights on beep as the dashlights on my bongo light up with the exterior lights... if the lights were on i'd notice before i got out, and would switch them off. Plus, as one walks away from the vehicle, you'd see the lights on as you glance back to make an admiring glance.

All the roof beeps work as per... :wink:

I have reduced my beeps too....kept the ones I want and disconnected the rest....
The Key beep is an easy fix.... white connector under front of the bottom steering cowl.... some others are sorted via the Blue footwell connector as Ste. says.... The rest are subjective

I couldn't get along with the beeps... every beep was telling me in a beepy sort of way " you are too stupid to turn off the lights" "you are of insufficient intellect to know you have put me in reverse" etc.... I didn't want a car that continually reminded me how stupid, ignorant, and self obsessed i am... If i needed reminding of those things i'd simply go home! :lol:

any joy with that one? the "reverse" beep is getting annoying now! the only one i really would like to keep is the "lights on" one. i know its easy to remember to turn them off but it's the one time you forget that will have you wishing that it was still letting you know that you are a numpty!

Its the Red with Yellow stripe on the "F" contact (centre one) of the plug see bottom of the page below for the plug layout;

my radio is wired into the leisure battery. can listen to radio without any keys in bongo and doors fully open. also no danger of draining down starter battery by having it on. dont know if this makes any sense to ur problem

I put a latching switch in the fuse box to the right just behind the removable panel.. It disables all but the reverse beep, which is ideal for "camping mode".... I put it in-line with the earth wire to the door pins..
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

Hi all,
Had a look this afternoon and I cut the red wire/yellow stripe wire as g8dhe said and the white wire. This cuts off the beeps from the keys in the ignition and reversing.
Hope that helped.
