Hi
On a daily basis my rev counter goes crazy. Flipping around all over. It then drops out to 0, and the 'HOLD' light flashes.
This lasts for between 5-10 minutes then spontaneously picks up again.
I have noticed a slight changing in the engine sound during the drop out phase.
Any ideas? Hints? Clues?
Any help would be fabulous!!
Thank you.

common problem, its the pick up, typically they work for about 10 mins or so til engine warks up then go nuts. throw it out n put new 1 in or try pulling it out and cleaning it, sometimes helps

Could anyone point me to where I get a new one from and give me any odea on how easy/difficult it would be to change?
My electrcian/mechanic says he's never done one before!
