New Bongo with Leisure Battery Fitted

Post by tonnee » Sun Jul 17, 2011 7:33 pm

Hi

Got my Bongo this week and it has a leisure battery fitted under the bonnet, I am wondering what this actually powers in the vehicle and how I can check?

Prevoius owner didnt even know it had a leisure battery whan I asked what it powered ?

Cheers

Welcom to the forum!

Two batteries do not necessarily mean L/B as some Bongo's come with two S/B batteries, Northern Japan cold start setup!
If you have a switch down by the drivers knee with an engine symbol on it then that indicates you have the cold start setup.

If it is a L/B then switch everything on and then just disconnect the L/B and see what stops working!
