Hi - the rear LED (spoiler) Brake Light isn't working.
I have taken out the 4 screws which hold the red cover.
And the long LED light unit then hangs down - but I was hoping that there would be a couple of connectors - so i could test the LED unit and also make sure there is some 'juice' getting to it. But the wires vanish into the rear door, etc.
Can any one tell me how I can get to the junction / where the wires are fed from / how to sort this.
Many thanks
Mike (Somerset)

Re: Rear LED Brake Light not working
The last connector before the light is at the interface between Spoiler and tailgate, if you release the spoiler on the offside you will see the connector mounted in the hole on the tailgate itself.

the connector is 67-SH1 on here

The most likely location of a break will be in the rubber gaiter that connects the tailgate to the chassis of course.

Thanks very much.
Could you just explain
"The most likely location of a break will be in the rubber gaiter that connects the tailgate to the chassis of course."
Cheers

Open the tailgate, up in the top offside corner you will see a rubber sleeve / gaiter that carries the cables into the tailgate from the actual chassis, obviously this area has the most stress on the wires hence they tend to break either inside or close to the gaiter. See here;
