tow bar wiring with conversion fitted

Post by mentaliss » Sun Jul 31, 2011 10:34 am

Another question! has anyone had or fitted a tow bar/electrics after a side or rear conversion been fitted....... Normally the tow bar electrics loom runs up from the bar to the offside (behind the rear panel) OR is it possible to wire in the loom into the rear lights?

You can do it all behind the rear offside cluster see here http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 80#p508480

Did mine to the nearside cluster except the offside indicator which can be "got at" from that side light cluster and "tapped" across to nearside.......no need to remove any panels whichever way you go.....don't use "scotch loks"
