Flashing Glow Plug Indicator

Hi All

I have a Flashing Glow Plug Light on the Dashboard of my 02 Diesel.

Having read previous posts I believe it is an Engine Management Fault Code.

I have downloaded the Tech Sheet and read other posts that describe the the Glow Plug Indicator will give a series of Long and Short Flashes to give you the Fault Code, however my Glow Plug Flashes ON and OFF Constantly ( On 1.2 secs Off 1.7 secs aprox )

Has anyone else come across this CODE?

Did you read the factsheet properly & connect the jumplead on the ECU as shown? It will just flash on & off until you do that

No! I will read again, I took it that Pre 99 you used a volt meter connected to the Diagnostics and Post 99 the GP Indicator flashed a series of codes usually based around a Long flash then a series of Shorter Flashes giving you the Fault Code, I guess I have misread...........????
