As I said before, this sounds more like a brake problem, water in the fluid meaning it heats up & expands when brakes applied? (fluid supposed to be changed every 2 years, not that anyone does  ) pistons on the calipers not returning, dodgy seals or scored cylinders/bores? or the pads not sliding back properly if the guideways a bit gunged up? springy bits missing? - http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... mgno=.html
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Hi. Not sure whether there was anything wrong with them or not. Just following advice from others on here. Still don't know whether driving it is dangerous or not...

Hi,I would not take any chances with the vehicle,it would seem that you have replaced parts that were probably not required.
Take your vehicle to a reputable motor engineer and give them the symptoms(NOT THE CURE)They should be able to repair your vehicle and make it SAFE.Probably cheaper in the long run..

All the best..
