I will reserve my comments on what the problem is until Koga responds to all the previous posts.

To all of you who gave suggestions thanks. Yep it was an ARB bracket, problem rectified and no clunking heard. I did suggest the possibility of being such after reading the forum and the mechanic was fine about it. In fact he now has four Bongos on his books and has picked up a little bit of knowledge so I'll stick with them for now and see how it goes. I noticed a bit of debate going on about garages and the forum. I have used the forum twice now for advice and to be honest all the advice I have recieved has been bang on. Earlier I had a problem with the central locking system and was directed to the loom by the driver's door as a possible culprit. This saved me time at the garage on fault finding ergo money saved. As they say two heads are better than one.

Thanks

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
