Drivers Window Switch

Post by hershambongo » Tue Aug 30, 2011 10:52 pm

My electric window switch has finaly given up ! after lots of taking apart and messing about with ! however just my luck its left the window down ! so Bongo is now sitting outside with just a bin bag to cover the window ! any ideas on how to close the window ? while I try and source a new switch for a reasonable price !

Thanks

Possibly the wires broken where they run from the door into the wing, common problem.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

If you take the black rocker part of the switch off the top, the slider underneath can usually be operated still. As Bob said, worth checking the wiring between door & frame too if that still doesn't work.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
