Seatbelt Buckles

Post by dave_aber » Wed Sep 07, 2011 10:26 am

Having been playing about with swivel seats, I am now looking for a female seatbelt buckle for the front seats which is a traditional fixed stalk rather than the Bongo sliding-along-a-bar variety.

I've fixed the buckle to the bar for now, but it's a bit of an ugly solution and does get in the way a bit.

So - anyone know of a suitable donor from another vehicle which fits the Bongo front belts?

TIA
Dave

do you need a fixed stalk dave or will a short flexy canvas strap to bolt do. if this is fine ive used the ones from a toy lucida to provide inertia reel style lap straps for the reversed front bench.
as you will know the standard bongo belts are different back and front.
these lucida ones are very similar to the bongo fronts, the blade is the same size, in width and length, and the centre hole(lock) is very similar,it will be the same after 2 mins with a file 8) .
give me a shout if you want pics of the 2 blades.
