As the title says - just about to get some ERG blanking plates and just wonder about the pros and cons - if any - of when they are fitted - not having any problems at the moment or in the last 5+ years so not in a rush to fit them. :)
If I had all the money I ever spent on my Freda ............ I`d spend it on my Freda.

From VERY distant memory Ian... She pulled a lot better AFTER blanking the EGR and junking the associated pipework :D If anything, there was an improvement in emission levels the following MOT. I'd say it's well worth doing... rather than waiting for the inevitable EGR failiure. :shock:

Thanks for the reply Ste - the pulling a lot better is worth it when pulling the caravan. :)

Deffo worth doing, I thought at the time when i did mine that it pulled a lot better.
Lost without my Bongo.
