I have the exact same problem as this guy did:
http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 07&p=80779
He stopped it:
"The remote control ignition starter is has an intermittent fault on it so we disconnected it and the beeping stopped."
I too have a remote control ignition starter that has never worked (to my knowledge) but I don't know what it looks like or how to disconnect it? Can anyone help the beeping is driving me bonkers?
PS. I know how to disable beeps in general (I've read the book and seen the video

, but it's this issue in particular.
Thanking anyone who can help in advance...

Well mysteriously today I filled Belinda up and she stopped beeping! I'm none the wiser! But the beeping has stopped for the time being anyway...

My beeping misery has come back! Does anyone have any clues as to why when the battery goes flat and is recharged I get a constant beep when the engine is turned off, or how to resolve this?

If it's the remote starter jobby, it'll probably be a black box lurking about somewhere, have you tried using different word combinations in the search function upper right on the screen, eg "remote and start", "remote and starter" "remote and ignition" etc?
Could it be a Low coolant alarm incorrectly connected to a circuit that isn't ignition switched?
Could it be the "Key in ignition beep playing up"?

Filled up what?

Which beeper is sounding ? Assume its the normal drivers foot one, but it could be the AFT or another device that's fitted perhaps ?

I'll try my best to answer these questions.
It's a little beep beep, nothing like the louder variant for doors open, roof up etc.
I don't have a low coolant alarm fitted and don't think it's the key in ignition beep playing up as it's not nearly as loud.
I also get one little final beep when I turn the key in the ignition before the diesel warming up light thingy comes on.
In terms of the remote starter jobby I have it on my keyring but don't have a screen anywhere, so that doesn't seem right.
Filled up was filled up with fuel!
I thinks it is the normal dirvers foot beeper, but don;t know how to tell.
AFT stands for what please? Auto Free Top by any chance..
Cheers everyone.

Right.... OK there are only two standard Beepers in a Bongo;
The main alarm (Keys in /Lights on/reversing etc) this is the one down in the drivers footwell behind the plastic trim at the front of the door.
The second one is at the rear of the Bongo in the offside pillar and its beeps for the AFT (yes the roof) lifting etc BUT it also triggers the main one mentioned above as well!
You should be able to identify these two simply by putting your head in the relevant locations!
After that it could be due to any other 3rd party fitted device - central locking, low coolant, temperature gauge etc.
If you can identify the location of the beeper, then we might be halfway to the cause of the alarm!

OK the beeping stopped! I cannot be certain but I think that shifting the Bongo through all the automatic "gears" sorted this! I went down from park thorugh each gear in turn and back again (pressing shift) and then turned the engine off and removed key. Beeping stopped.
My conclusion is that these little beeps start when the battery is too low to start the engine, but that they do not disappear with a full battery, only when you do the above. I'll have to wait until I have a flat battery again to test this theory!

Sounds more like something else that is attached, the affect you suggest above isn't a standard beep in the Bongo at all. You don't have a Turbo Timer fitted or something like that ?

Have you got an alarm with an in built battery back up ..??
The alarm battery due for replacement or low main vehicle battery can trigger a warning beep ..

I don't have an alarm, don't think I have a turbo timer. I did have a remote control ignition starter - maybe the remnants of that (I did not take this off, dealer I imported from did).
