It's a bit of a squeeze especially on the driver's side behind the battery but you need to remove the electrical connector at the back of the light (you have to squeeze the sides in as it's on a safety clip arrangement) then you can remove the big rubber grommet, release the spring clip and take the bulb out. A lot of this has to be done by feel as you can't really see what you're doing.

Bulbs are H4 (Halfords 472)

Thanks. Much appreciated. I started to go down that road but met some resistance so didnt want to be too heavy handed. Now I know I am on the right track I will try again.

Cheers

It might help to do the nearside one first - I found there was more room there so you can see what you are doing, and use that to inform the blind fumblings on the offside...

Thanks folks. After a lot of fumbling with the spring clip decided for some reason it wasnt going to budge so decided to take the grill off and the headlight out. Glad I did ! found that the spring clip was held in by the lip of a screw! I have reasonably slim fingers for a girlie but it was easier with the headlight out. Thanks for the advice on how to approach this - as a newby I was struggling.

cheers :D
