Wellhouse Stick On Speedo Faceplate
Arrived in the post this am but I can't make sense of how it goes on the faceplate. I know it sticks on
. I haven't taken the speedo out yet to see what it's like but am wondering how the stick on one will work. I think there are three layers a clear plastic 1st layer, the faceplate and a white card backing. Is the bit I stick on sandwiched between the white card and clear plastic?? Why has the clear plastic layer got a circle with a cross hair in each corner? Are there cutouts for the odometer and trip meter? Can anybody post an idiots guide for me? I've got the fact sheet which is detailed about taking the speedo out but I'm not so confident on the stick on part of the job

Probably a phone call to Wellhouse will answer all your questions
. David Elliot is a very helpful chap.

Tried him this am and he couldn't help me. Got my sppedo out then find they have sent me the wrong one
Am I better off getting a replacement face off ebay rather than a stick on face?????
Re: Wellhouse Stick On Speedo Faceplate
Decided to return the Wellhouse faceplate, they refunded my money no problem and were very helpful.
Bought a faceplate off ebay, the-karaoke-queen, it arrived the next day and simply replaced the old km one. I spoke to the seller and he gave me a useful tip when fitting it.
Having got the speedo cluster out of the vehicle before removing the old faceplate gently lift the speedo needle over the needle stop and mark where it comes to a rest. Fit the mph faceplate and refit the speedo needle aligned to the mark then move it beyond the position of the needle stop and fit the needle stop. I did this and when I checked the indicated speed with my sat nav indicated speed it was spot on so I avoided having to faff around fitting the speedo needle while driving at 30mph
