Re: September meet?
Still not 100% on my rota in Oct, but as it stands I am off for all the weekends in Oct.

Any weekend in October apart from the 1st one is good for us.

Re: September meet?
Just noticed that Comrie Croft has mountain bike trails
and that Loch Ken is right in the middle of the 7 Stanes bike trails
We stayed at Balloch of Dee back in June which is a little bit further west of Loch Ken. It is a small campsite but has electric pitches and fire pits. It has a website which is as http://www.ballochodee.com/

Re: September meet?
That's hopefully of no use to us. If Jr is available in October, it'll mean he's flunked his examsThe_Gordons wrote:Just noticed that Comrie Croft has mountain bike trailsand that Loch Ken is right in the middle of the 7 Stanes bike trails

Re: September meet?
I think the only weekend in October that definitely wouldn't suit is the weekend of 14th, all the others should be ok for us

How about this site

Just down the road from the Red Squirrel

The downside:
None, besides the usual midge warning.

But will this campsite let us have a fire to smoke the midges away like they do at Red Squirrel Campsite?

they have the fires allowed symbol, though being a lochside location, they shouldn't be too much a problem

Is that because you're working or attending that weekend?

No but the kids always do but I get free tickets for them and the mrs so not all bad.
Re: September meet?
We are not available 8th or 15th September or 26th October but can make any other weekend and are happy where ever. Or should I start making decisions again?
