Back home from a beautiful Euro Drive across france in our campervan to see our good friends the Hughes, 1400 trouble free miles in total, Day 1 368 miles, left home at 03:00 down to Dover after a detour cos the M11 was closed, sometimes being a trucker comes in soooooo handy when roads are closed, Straight on the ferry over the channel then made our way down to Ramboullet for 15:00 to set up camp including my new secondhand outwell mountain road awning in the beautiful woodland campsite of Hutoppia, Bar B q for tea and a dip in the pool before showerin up and chillin with the family and a couple of ciders before bed.

Day 2, Breakfast in the great outdoors then Pack up all the camping gear ready for the final 239 miles down to Limoges to see our friends. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Days 3 4 5 and 6, Chillin with Hal and June, Cathrine Chris and their 3 fantastic kids Swimming in the crystal clear lake and taking in the beautiful sights of south west france, a vistit to Oradour Sur Glane is a very Humbling day gotta see it to believe the horror of it, spent the evenings drinking with friends in the warm french evenings and relaxing.

Day 7 leave Limoges at 10:00 and head north for the 311 miles to les anderlys just south east or Rouen to a little campsite on the river seinne, stopped at The Buffalo Grill at Orleans for lunch then kept on heading up to les anderlys to the campsite called lle Trois Rois got all set up and fed before cooling that 35 degree heat off in the outdoor pool, Couple of ciders then off to bed.

Day 8 final day, Brekky in the warm morning sun then pack up camp and head for Calais, had plenty of time to call in city europe for a looky round the shops then one final tank of cheap french fuel (1.39 euro's per litre was the most we paid all week  ) Loaded on to the ferry to sail back to good old blighty 8)
