I was helping my mate move and come across this in his garage and he said i could have it so Ive sprayed it up and placed in position (not final position just to get an idea

Personally I prefer it without, but as a Bongo owner I know it isn't serving any purpose except bling.
But......

..........If you turn it round and open up the area under it, it is in a high pressure position and will aid cooling.

If you turn it round the other way you could keep an eye on your coolant level when you are driving along, and you won't get any leaves and flies in it
