Firth of Forth
Venue: On the front between the road and rail bridge,B924, Newhalls Road car park (opposite ‘The two Bridges’ Hotel) South Queensferry.
Organiser: Dunslair
Park up and enjoy iconic views of the Forth Bridges. Then there is a choice of three pubs / eateries if lunch is required. Meet up at 11.00am for a ‘bit of a chin wag’, spot of lunch (either picnic or pub), bit more of a ‘chin wag’, then we could possibly leave in convoy for a drive over the Forth Road Bridge and back?

Excellent choice of venue. A photo I keep meaning to stop and take, the converging bridges.

I could be up for this..........if the Bongo passes it's MOT on the 14th of Feb.
Re: Firth of Forth
It would be great to see you if you can make it. Why not delay the Christmas shopping til Feb and hit two birds with the one stone.brorabongo wrote:I could be up for this..........if the Bongo passes it's MOT on the 14th of Feb.

Am I allowed to come in my Jeep. Yesterday MikeBongo's friends Colin & Gill agreed to buy my Bongo with the handover taking place on 8th January 2013 after it gains a new MOT certificate.

Re: Firth of Forth
Mixed blessings Tony.... happy for you that you have sold the van, but also sorry for you that it has gone! At least the new owners will be getting a well looked after van! Of course you are allowed to come in your jeep. Any plans for the replacement for the Bongo yet? I expect nothing less than 100% luxury mobile Gin (Scotch) palace!MountainGoat wrote:Am I allowed to come in my Jeep. Much as we'd like to come to this, there's icecreams on offer at the Yorkshire Dales meet and donkey-rides at the Lytham St Annes meet. But the lure of the haggis might prove too muchdunslair wrote:Muz could come by and pick you up on his way.... Hi,
I would be interested in coming along. I bought my bongo in September so relativley new to all of this. Weather permitting I'll be there. A short jaunt as I stay in Fife.
