Driver side window doesnt work

Post by Steveoms » Thu Apr 25, 2013 6:09 pm

Hi

Another small problem is the drivers side window does not open. I am pretty sure it is the switch because the passenger sie window doesn1t open from the drivers switch but does from the passenger switch, I guess the window fuse would stop both if it were blown. Can I assume I need a new window switch?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Hi
The most common problem is the wiring loom between the door on the driver's side and the body...strip it of covering, and check each wire, and repair where necessary - buy a new loom from the club shop, as the repairs don't last indefinitely

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.

It's often the thick black wire in the door loom.
