Playstation fitment

Post by stuc » Sun May 05, 2013 10:37 pm

Hi, has anyone fitted a playstation 1(original) into a vehicle. I have a couple lying around and wondered if it would be easy to connect it up to my monitor in the Bongo. Obviously there would need to be some kind of 12V adapter but cant find the right one.

I used to have a SNES in my T5 (so the disc didn't jump while driving) it was fine on an inverter get the biggest wattage you can afford though, as i bought a small one and sometimes could of done with a bigger one to power a few things, but couldn't justify getting another so put up with it but if i had spent the extra few quid at the start i would of been ok.....saying that though probably would of only come in handy once or twice :)

I have seen a 500W inverter on ebay, would that be big enough?

Yep plenty a PS1 only uses 4 watts

so you can get away with the smallest one you can find (cheaper)
i think i had a 150 watt one and it couldn't handle my laptop so a 500W will be much better
