sensor broken, but what is it?

Post by Avid Llama » Sat Mar 01, 2014 12:02 pm

The sensor is on the side of a cone-shaped part of the transmission. It is located under the centre of my bongo, and the cone is between the gearbox and the prop shaft. I need a new sensor and wire. Does anyone know what this is, so I can order a replacement?

I would attach photos, but I can't work out how to do this. If anyone could tell me that in itself would be really helpful.

Sounds like the speed sensor from your description. You may also have a flashing light on the dashboard and no speedo reading.
